SECTION 01
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Pathfinder Co, LLC ("Pathfinder Co," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of our website and coaching services.
By accessing our website, booking a discovery call, completing a coaching application, or engaging our services in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
SECTION 02
Services Description
Pathfinder Co offers mindset and alignment coaching services for high-performing, ambitious women, including but not limited to:
1:1 private coaching packages (including The Self-Trust Experience and other programs)
Discovery calls and consultations
Digital content, workbooks, and resources
Any future group programs, courses, or offerings as announced
The specific scope, duration, session frequency, and deliverables for each service are outlined in the individual service agreement or program description provided at the time of enrollment.
SECTION 03
The Coaching Relationship
Coaching is not therapy. Life coaching and mindset coaching are distinct from licensed mental health services. Pathfinder Co does not provide psychotherapy, psychological counseling, medical advice, or any regulated mental health service.
IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, severe depression, trauma, or any condition that requires clinical treatment, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a licensed mental health professional. Coaching is designed for growth and forward momentum — not as a substitute for clinical care.
By engaging our coaching services, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for your own choices, decisions, and outcomes throughout the coaching relationship
Coaching results depend significantly on your own effort, engagement, and commitment
Pathfinder Co cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results
You will communicate openly and honestly to enable the most effective coaching experience
You are mentally and emotionally prepared to engage in growth-oriented coaching work
SECTION 04
Payments & Fees
All fees for coaching services are outlined in your individual service agreement or program enrollment page. By enrolling in any Pathfinder Co program, you agree to the payment terms specified at the time of purchase.
Payment is due as specified in your service agreement (in full or per the agreed payment plan schedule)
Payment plans are a courtesy arrangement — all installments are owed regardless of early termination unless otherwise specified
Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor; Pathfinder Co does not store your payment card details
All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise specified
Failed or declined payments may result in a pause or termination of services
If you have questions about payment, billing, or wish to discuss payment plan options, please contact us before enrolling.
SECTION 05
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to be fair to both parties while honoring everyone's time.
Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: Sessions may be rescheduled at no charge
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: The session will be forfeited unless extenuating circumstances apply (at our discretion)
No-shows: Sessions missed without notice will be forfeited
Coach cancellations: If we need to cancel, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer rescheduling at no penalty to you
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us via email or through your scheduling link with as much advance notice as possible.
SECTION 06
Refund Policy
Due to the personalized, time-intensive, and relationship-based nature of coaching services, we have the following refund policy:
General policy: All coaching program fees are non-refundable once the program has commenced (i.e., once the first session has occurred). This applies to both full payments and payment plans.
Pre-commencement cancellations: If you cancel before your first session, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund less any administrative fees. Please contact us within 48 hours of enrollment.
Payment plans: Entering a payment plan constitutes a commitment to the full program investment. Remaining installments are owed even if you choose to discontinue participation.
Digital products: Due to their instant-access nature, digital downloads and workbooks are non-refundable.
Extenuating circumstances: We handle genuine hardship situations on a case-by-case basis with compassion. Please reach out directly if you are experiencing an extraordinary circumstance.
We are committed to delivering exceptional value and will always work with you to address any concerns about your experience before a refund is requested.
SECTION 07
Confidentiality
We take your privacy and confidentiality with the utmost seriousness. What you share in coaching sessions is held in strict confidence.
What this means:
We will not disclose the content of your coaching sessions to any third party without your explicit written consent
We may use anonymized, non-identifying client experiences in our marketing materials (e.g., general transformation stories) — never with identifying details and never without your permission if your story is recognizable
Confidentiality has limits required by law: we are obligated to breach confidentiality if there is a credible risk of serious harm to you or another person, or if required by a court of law
We ask that you also treat as confidential any tools, frameworks, worksheets, or proprietary materials shared during your coaching engagement.
SECTION 08
Intellectual Property
All content on the Pathfinder Co website and all coaching materials, frameworks, workbooks, and resources — including The Pathfinder Method, The Self-Trust Experience curriculum, and all written, visual, and audio content — are the intellectual property of Pathfinder Co, LLC and are protected by copyright law.
You may use coaching materials for your own personal growth and development
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or share our materials — in whole or in part — without our written permission
You may not use our frameworks, program structures, or proprietary content to create competing products or services
Social sharing of general insights (not verbatim content) with credit to Pathfinder Co is welcome and appreciated
SECTION 09
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Pathfinder Co does not warrant that our services will meet every individual's specific expectations, that results will be achieved within any particular timeframe, or that the coaching relationship will be the right fit for every person who applies.
Testimonials and client stories shared on our website reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of the results any specific client will achieve. Individual outcomes vary based on a wide range of personal factors including effort, commitment, life circumstances, and readiness for change.
SECTION 10
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pathfinder Co, LLC and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury — arising from your use of our services or website.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Pathfinder Co in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to take full responsibility for your decisions and actions taken as a result of coaching. Pathfinder Co is not responsible for outcomes resulting from choices you make during or after the coaching relationship.
SECTION 11
Termination
Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time. However, termination does not relieve the client of any financial obligations already incurred under their payment agreement.
Pathfinder Co reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship immediately and without refund if a client:
Behaves in a disrespectful, abusive, or threatening manner toward Pathfinder Co or its affiliates
Misrepresents their situation, needs, or intentions in a material way during the application process
Uses coaching sessions or materials for purposes that conflict with the intended coaching relationship
Fails to make required payments per their agreed schedule
SECTION 12
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in Anderson County, South Carolina, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You agree that any claims must be brought in your individual capacity and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
